

Technically, its an RT-AC68W (for the white enclosure, but my understanding is the firmware is the same as with the U version).Gave me same prompt to log in, but didn't accept admin/admin. It gives my Ethernet connection an IP address of 192.169.1.193.Doing this wired into the LAN1 port from a Win7 device (also tried the other LAN2-4 ports).When I look for the default SSIDs on my iPhone, I don't see any "ASUS" or "ASUS_5G.".I don't have anything connected to the WAN port.When I try to go to 192.168.1.1, it gives me prompt to login, so I do with admin/admin, but doesn't accept it (just pops up the login window again when I cancel it says "401 Unauthorized. Then push the reset button until the power LED blinks (takes about 5 seconds), and all the LEDs do some on/offing.Make sure power button is on (lights are on).I bought a used RT-AC68U and I'm having trouble resetting it to factory default.

I have never done a factory reset after a firmware upgrade although I keep reading thats recommended. Ive kept this router updated and always updated via the router built-in firmware upgrade routine.
